Speaking of this city, one of the most popular attractions is undeniably the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha Temple, the perfect showcase of traditional Thai architecture which also used to be the residence of Kings and royal family of Chakri Dynasty. Then just within walking distance, there is a stunning Wat Pho Temple which is the house of the astonishing Reclining Buddha, the largest golden Buddha image with 46 meters long. The temple is also the birthplace of the globally renowned Thai Massage. One of my highly recommended to-do list, catching the impressive scenic sunset with your favorite drink on the view over the Chao Phraya River with the background of Wat Arun Temple. I am sure you will fall in love with the view there.
For food enthusiasts, you can do both strolling to “Yaowarat Road” to experience the street food like a local, or dine in Michelin-starred restaurants which offer diverse culinary experiences. Furthermore, you can continue your night with the nightlife district in Sukhumvit area. Besides, it is also known that “Bangkok ” is the city for everyone so you can also enjoy Silom area which has diverse entertainment options and also a welcoming atmosphere for the LGBTQ+ community.
One of the things that surely distinguish this city, Muay Thai (Thai boxing), I would recommend visiting Rajadamnern Stadium where is the oldest and most prestigious stadium for this traditional Thai martial art. Get yourself a ringside ticket from Concierges to be on the seat next to the ring so you can witness this thrilling competition. I promise you this is something really much more exciting than watching it on TV.
For Art lovers, there are still many cool galleries that you can visit on Charoenkrung Street where is renowned for its vibrant street art scenes, graffiti by local and international artists, with its combination of Chinese and Thai influences. you can explore local temples, traditional markets, and unique architecture while experiencing the local way of life.
