One of the features you’ll notice while landing in one of Kyiv’s airports, is the great number of churches. Kyiv is often called «the city of golden domes». In 988 Kyiv was became a Christian city and an important center of Orthodoxy. Since that time many things have changed but Kyiv still plays a very important role as a religious center. Many pilgrims come to visit Kyiv’s Pechersk Lavra (Cave Monastery), St. Michael’s Cathedral, St. Sophia’s Cathedral, St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral and others. Even the non-religious will find these places beautiful and interesting as they provide the true spirit of a modern and ancient city. You can imagine how powerful Kyiv was in 1036 to have the amazing St. Sophia’s Cathedral which has survived untouched even through the Tatar-Mongol invasions and Second World War.
Another thing you’ll notice about my city is it’s very green. We have many parks, gardens and most streets are lined with the trees. The best time to come to Kyiv is spring when the trees are in blossom. Even the symbol of Kyiv is a branch of a chestnut tree in blossom. There is always a place to relax and enjoy the moment of life in a peace of nature, listening to birds singing and drinking a cup of coffee.
Nowadays Kyiv is a major Ukrainian business center, it is very popular with local and international investors. Skyscrapers, modern business centers and exhibition complexes are adding contrast to the architectural look of the city. Many regional and European events are held in Kyiv presenting the top achievements in IT, Tourism, Medicine, Education, Science, Agriculture, Manufacturing and other industries Ukraine is famous for.

I was born in Kyiv, and can’t get enough of my city.
I started my hospitality carrier from position of bellboy in November 2006. In December of the same year I got the position of Concierge (in 2nd 5* hotel in my city) and it was a beginning of new life. In 2009 I joined preopening team of InterContinetal Kyiv, where I’ve spent 4 years on position of Chief concierge and in 2010 I became a member of Les Clefs d’Or family. From December 2013 till now I am a part of Hilton Kyiv team and its Chief concierge.
I don’t know what I love more: To assist guests and make miracles, or to travel through the world attending congresses and seeing friends. It is a great feeling, when you know that almost in every corner of the world you have friend. Friend who will be happy to assist and to make his best for you to explore and enjoy the region. Lots of real friends I met through years in Les Clefs d’Or, friends for life. This is the main benefit for me.
