Your Key To Belgrade Serbia 2025

Belgrade: Europe’s Best-Kept Secret Waiting to Amaze You

Belgrade is a living testament to the endless fusion of cultures, histories, and civilizations, a vibrant crossroads where centuries of diverse influences converge and intertwine. Unique geographical position has profoundly shaped its history, culture, and identity as the only city in Europe situated at the confluence of two major rivers, the Sava and the Danube.
As early as the 13th century, Saint Sava, the greatest Serbian saint, recognized Serbia’s unique role as a bridge between worlds. He famously described it as “the East of the West and the West of the East,” capturing the essence of a city that seamlessly weaves together elements of contrasting cultures and traditions, creating a unique and dynamic identity.
Today, Saint Sava’s legacy is honored with the monumental Temple of Saint Sava, one of the largest churches in the world. Located on Belgrade’s highest point, the temple is visible from all directions when approaching the city. Its magnificent interior features the world’s largest mosaic, reflecting spiritual devotion and cultural heritage. With us, you may get exclusive private tour of this landmark, granting unparalleled access to its breathtaking view from one of the tallest domes in the world with hidden historical details.
Beyond the iconic landmarks, Belgrade hides a side known only to those who seek authentic, intimate experiences—a side revealed through the expertise of a skilled concierge. Nestled in the heart of the Old Town, Square Nine places you at the center of this cultural crossroads. Just a short walk away is “Sava Perfumery” crafting exquisite fragrances using time-honored techniques since 1954.
Now that we’re smelling like pure elegance, let’s take a few steps further and visit the Belgrade Fortress, the city’s crown jewel. While its panoramic views and historical significance are well-known, lesser-known treasures like the Roman Well await discovery. This architectural marvel, descending 60 meters below the depths of the Sava and Danube, once captivated Alfred Hitchcock, who envisioned it as the setting for a thriller. Nearby, the Ružica Church, originally an Austrian gunpowder storage facility, features chandeliers made from melted bullets, symbolizing a plea for peace and a poignant reminder of history’s lessons.
From the fortress, descend to Beton Hala to board the luxurious Azimut 55 yacht for a serene cruise along Belgrade’s rivers. Legend has it that couples who kiss at the confluence of the Sava and Danube will be bound together forever.
The journey continues in Zemun, where a coffee break at the renowned “Fuka” roastery is followed by a visit to the vibrant Zemun Market. Experience a unique culinary delight at “Pretop” restaurant, famous for its roast pork, homemade bread, and champagne, a simple yet indulgent combination. Conclude your adventure in Zemun’s Old Town with a visit to “Zemunska Poslastičarnica” where ice cream flavors inspired by ajvar, rakija, and kačkavalj cheese provide a sweet and unforgettable finale.
This is merely a glimpse of what we have in store for you! I hope I’ve sparked your curiosity, and we eagerly await your visit to unveil the entire secret.

From a young age, I felt destined to become a concierge. I’ve always been the person others turned to for advice and trust, shaping my path even though the concierge role didn’t exist in Serbia at the time, nor was it mentioned during my studies. My journey began in 2012 as a Bell Boy at the Hyatt Regency in Belgrade. After meeting colleagues from Thessaloniki with golden keys and watching The Grand Budapest Hotel, I set my sights on becoming a Les Clefs d'Or concierge. In 2016, I entered the concierge world, but it seemed like an impossible dream since no one in Serbia held the keys. With the support of my superiors and colleagues from Hungary and Greece, my dream came true in 2022, symbolically in the spirit of The Grand Budapest Hotel, when I received my keys and joined the Hungarian Federation. Today, as Head Concierge at Square Nine Hotel, I aim to raise awareness of the concierge’s crucial role in hospitality and guide my colleagues through the process of earning their keys, helping shape a future where the concierge is recognized as an essential part of the guest experience.
